About
Sydney Koeplin is a writer and editor from northern Illinois. She is an MFA candidate in fiction at Bowling Green State University and a graduate of Colby College, where she won the Elmira Nelson Jones Prize for Creative Writing in 2021.
Her short stories, essays, poetry, and travel narratives have appeared in Qu Literary Magazine, Hypertext Magazine, The Allegheny Review, The Corvus Review, and Their Ghoulish Reputation: A Folk Horror Anthology from Dark Lake Publishing, among others.
When she’s not writing or with her nose in a book, she enjoys swimming, taking walks around her neighborhood, and sitting in coffee shops for hours at a time.
